About Katrina
Katrina (Vazquez) Devlin, RD, is a Holistic Registered Dietitian specializing in women’s health, gut health, and autoimmune conditions. She takes an integrative approach, looking beyond nutrition alone to consider the full picture of a person’s well-being, including sleep, mental health, stress, relationships, and daily habits.
Katrina’s path to nutrition began with her own story. A lifelong dancer, she studied at The Boston Conservatory and The Ailey School, but during that time struggled with depression, body image, and disordered eating. Eventually, she left her professional dance studies and began working in restaurants, which rekindled her love of food. In those kitchens and dining rooms, she began healing her relationship with eating by witnessing food as enjoyment, creativity, and connection. This experience inspired her to pursue a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at NYU.
The first four years of her career were dedicated to serving underserved populations in New York City at a nonprofit food and nutrition program in Brooklyn and a community hospital in the Bronx. These experiences gave her a deep appreciation for the privilege it can be to focus on health, and revealed the profound role that social determinants of health play in our lives. She saw that when education is tailored to real-life circumstances, people can nourish their bodies and make small, sustainable shifts that create meaningful change.
In her late twenties, Katrina was diagnosed with PCOS, which further deepened her commitment to women’s health. She came to understand how emotional health, past traumas, and years of fighting her body had impacted her physiology. She learned that the body speaks in subtle ways, through exhaustion, resistance, or stillness, and that listening to these cues is an act of wisdom rather than a failure of willpower. She believes our intuition is one of our greatest tools for healing.
Today, Katrina helps clients address the root causes of their health concerns and rebuild trust with their bodies. She emphasizes that food is only one piece of the puzzle; sleep, stress, and emotional health can be equally, if not more, impactful. When these areas are out of balance, they shape our health and our food choices in ways that have nothing to do with willpower.
Grounded in compassion and practicality, Katrina guides her clients to question ingrained patterns, explore their beliefs around food, and develop habits that support both health and joy. She reminds us that in our one lifetime in these bodies, we deserve to live without fear around food and instead cultivate trust, presence, and nourishment every day.
